08. Danny Denzongpa (Padma Shri / Actor)


Danny Denzongpa, recipient of Padma Shri (2003), the fourth highest civilian honour from the Government of India had been a lone flag bearer of Sikkim at India and International levels for a long time.

A legendary name in Bollywood films since 1971, has also done films in Nepali, Bengali and Tamil languages. His International Hollywood film includes Brad Pitt's starter Seven Years in Tibet. His directorial venture Phir Wahi Raat is considered among the top five best horror suspense films in Hindi Cinema.
