05. Jas Lal Pradhan (Arjuna Awardee/ Asian Games Medalist/Boxing)


Jaslal Pradhan, a boxing legend from Sikkim was an Arjuna Awardee in 1983. He was a bronze medalist in the 1982 Delhi Asian Games in the Lightweight 60 kg category. He competed in the men's light welterweight event at the 1984 Summer Olympics.

Nilesh Lamichaney was the first Captain of the Sikkim Cricket Team in their inaugural competition at the List A level in the 2018–19 Vijay Hazare Trophy. He became the first player to score a century for Sikkim, when he made 123 against Arunachal Pradesh on 21 September 2018.
