01. Manita Pradhan (Mountaineering)


Miss Manita Pradhan, recipient of Sikkim Ratna, the highest civilian award of the Sikkim Government successfully summited Mt. Everest (2021), the highest mountain in the world and Kilimanjaro (2022), the highest mountain in Africa.

Nilesh Lamichaney was the first Captain of the Sikkim Cricket Team in their inaugural competition at the List A level in the 2018–19 Vijay Hazare Trophy. He became the first player to score a century for Sikkim, when he made 123 against Arunachal Pradesh on 21 September 2018.
